The Homestead is the heart of Waldara. A classic country house thoughtfully refreshed to feel both elevated and completely at ease. Outside, the wrap-around verandah looks across manicured gardens to The Lodge beyond, roses blooming along the garden edge and birdsong carrying on the morning air. Inside, deep green feature walls, warm timber floors and original pressed-tin ceilings give the space a quiet character that feels genuinely lived in. Whether you are here for a wedding weekend, a family gathering, or simply a few days away, The Homestead settles around you like it was always yours.

The Homestead sleeps up to 10 guests across a warm and varied mix of bedrooms, each with its own quiet character. Twin rooms with plantation shutters, mustard throws and garden outlooks sit alongside queen bedrooms dressed in soft neutrals and natural light. Whether you are hosting a family with children, a bridal party, or a close group of friends, there is a room that feels right for everyone.
